SCC & Solva WI Tree Planting:

Local volunteers have now planted 350 saplings, including Rowan, Wild Cherry, Crabapple, Dogwood, Hazel and Hawthorn, on Lyn’s Path hillside. The remaining 70 saplings are being planted around the perimeter of the football pitch.
Solva planting co-ordinator Vicky Barker would like to thank all the volunteers for their hard work and good humour! As well as the Woodland Trust for providing the saplings, stakes and tree guards.
To help with future planting email Vicky at vkbarker39@yahoo.co.uk or send text on 07748 352889.

WI Tree Planting
Two Crabapple trees were planted on the bank at St Aidans car park, and an ornamental Cockspur Thorn alongside the walkway to the doctor’s surgery. Thank you to spouses Jonathan and Keith for the digging of the holes and to Vicky
and Bruce from Solva Community Council for their patience and guidance.
