Each year, the accounts of Solva Community Council are audited by the Auditor General of Wales. As part of this process, any interested person has the opportunity to inspect and make copies of the Annual Return. Refer to the Notice for details of how to inspect. Image by Mohamed Hassan from Pixabay
June’s minutes have now been published.
The preferred route has been revealed!
Hugging the valley above Newgale beach, the preferred option is a two-and-a-half kilometre stretch linking Penycwm with a purpose built roundabout approximately 1km south of Roch.
The next stages are – if Cabinet agree – for Pembrokeshire County Council to apply for Welsh Government financial support to undertake further studies of the ground conditions, ecology and environment along the preferred route so that the precise location of the road can be determined.
Detailed surveys of the route will be undertaken as well as drilling some exploratory boreholes as part of the ground investigation. Detailed designs of the new road will be developed for public consultation before an application for planning consent and a public enquiry.
