● Scam NHS Covid Vaccine emails
The victim receives an email that they are on the Covid vaccination list and they need to select whether they do or don’t want the injection. Either choice will take the victim to a site where they will be requested to enter personal / financial data.
The NHS is not sending these emails out – it is a SCAM.
Do not click on links or attachments
● A Facebook Phishing campaign – scam FACEBOOK ALERT
Facebook users have been receiving a message “is that you”?, claiming to have found a video or image with you featured in it. Do not click on the link as you will be taken to sites where your credentials will be harvested and used by criminals. Also, do not enter your Facebook User ID and Password!
● Royal Mail delivery SCAM
…We are waiting your reschedule action. Shipment no: XXXXXXXXXXXXX
If this item is unclaimed by the return date… …Currently, your parcel is being stored in our local depot.
Redelivery your parcel (linked) . Your parcel will be delivered on selected date…
This is a scam – check by hovering mouse pointer over incoming email address, not Royal Mail then its a scam. Do not click on “Redelivery your parcel” link.
In all the above cases report suspicious emails to: report@phishing.gov.uk. and suspicious texts by forwarding the original message to 7726.
