As members of the community know Solva Memorial Hall is a focal point and hub of the community for events and meetings. However, two factors have arisen that could affect the running and the future of the establishment. Firstly, the Hall needs
more activities to off-set its running costs; many activities have been lost through organisers either moving away or going on-line due to the Covid pandemic. If you are keen to start a new group or to revisit the hall as a previous activity group, please let me know, details below. The second factor is the dwindling number of volunteers to help run the hall and
organise fund raising events – the management committee meet approximately every two months for short, enjoyable and sometimes amusing meetings, and it not an arduous job helping with the events. If you feel a responsibility to the village and wish to help to continue the longevity of the Hall (its 100th birthday is next year), please contact Peter on 01437 72011 /
